Entre a Rua das Trigueiras e a Rua do Outeiro, vê-se um alpendre com cobertura em telha que protege o Senhor da Ajuda. A Cruz, em granito, tem pintado Jesus Cristo com auréola, tendo a seus pés Nossa Senhora das Dores. Na parte inferior da Cruz, pode-se ler “Rogai por Nós e pelas Almas do Purgatório”. A alminha foi totalmente renovada na primavera 2018.
The shrine of Amoinha Velha
Between the street of Trigueiras and the street of Outeiro, we can see a porch with rood tile covering protecting the Senhor da Ajuda. The granite cross has Jesus Christ with an aureole painted on it and has on his feet our Lady of Sorrows. In the lower part of the Cross, we can read “Pray for Us and for the Souls in Purgatory. The Shrine was entirely renovated in Spring 2018.
